As a French born photographer, it was a treat to follow in the footsteps of great French (and foreign) writers and poets in a solitary quest through France. I had the immense pleasure of re-reading their works and then finding the landscapes which inspired them as well as the places where they lived. The capricious weather required huge patience in order to achieve the right mood for each writer.
